The first Chasco Fiesta in 1922 was held to raise money for the community library. The Chasco Fiesta, March 18–28, 2004, offers eleven full days of entertainment and activity, ten nights of free music, and a Country Concert featuring national recording stars. No longer a fund-raiser for a local library, Chasco now benefits more than thirty not-for-profit organizations.
